RealUp is growing its involvement in the commercial real estate industry. RealUp has recently joined NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
Brian Randy Funk, President of RealUp.com, became a member as a "Developing Leader" of our local Research Triangle Chapter of NAIOP.
The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) is the leading organization for developers, owners and related professionals in office, industrial and mixed-use real estate. Founded in 1967 the association currently has 56 chapter networks and is comprised of more than 15,000 members throughout North America.
NAIOP offers its members unparalleled networking opportunities, educational programs, research on trends and innovation and strong legislative initiatives. Through many years of growth and support, NAIOP has developed into one of the nation's largest, most prestigious and valuable commercial real estate organizations.
With this new involvement with the NAIOP we hope to reach out and network through our local chapter and nationwide. The Research Triangle Chapter has more than 125 members making it the largest chapter in the association.
We feel like our involvement presents a tremendous opportunity to be active in local meetings, networking, business development, educational opportunities for professional growth and representation on local, state and national issues.
It is imperative that RealUp works together with industry associations in order to maintain a presence in the industry and to have direct involvement with our user base.
Reaching out through associations is an effective method of getting valuable feedback and learning what our customers need to be successful. As the New Year approaches we will be striving to increase our involvement among industry associations nationwide.
